Welcome, beautiful Beings of Light to Mindfulness Monday, your mindfulness practice to hold from Monday to Monday.
As a gentle reminder, this is a general reading. Please only take what resonates and leave the rest for who may need it.
While this message happens to be a timeless message, I feel it is one that is also coming in to be continually reviewed going forward.
One that will unfold in ways that are not yet seen because they have not been created yet.
Masking the Good to Match the Collective
The first card that we have coming in is the Concealment card.
This card is asking you to look at the feelings that you are concealing or denying yourself because you feel you “should” be holding on to different emotions.
The collective is in pain. I “should” be in pain.
The collective is in fear of what is to come. I “should” hold fear of what is to come.
The idea that we must match what somebody else is feeling to be an empath is a little backwards.
While we will feel anger, hate, pain, fear, and sorrow continuously throughout our journey. (Especially as it unfolds in light of everything that's happening in the world currently.)
It is not your responsibility to hold that just [to match others in your community] just because others are.
If you are somebody who is looking for the new path and you can see the full picture, there is nothing wrong with that.
It's time to stop concealing that hope and possibility from others (or at the very least from yourself) because it makes other people outraged that you aren't meeting them in their anger and fear.
Of course, you hold anger, fear yourself. BUT seeing the bigger picture or understanding that this could be an opportunity to create something new is not weakness. It is not turning your back on the collective community.
It is becoming the dreamer that's going to find the alternative path that needed. Because the old world is burning for good reason…it needs to.
It's needed to change for a long time. What we thought was safety and security, turns out, that it was feeble and easily undone by the strike of a pen.
It's time to start thinking up new and different ways.
To stop concealing the fact that you hold ideas that you could collaborate with others on.
Maybe not collaborating with everyone but knowing who to collaborate with.
The Art of Mindfulness
Which leads us into our next card, Mindfulness.
This mindfulness card is asking you to practice the art of stillness and observation to be able to witness who is ready to receive your optimism, hope, or collaboration.
This is mindfully knowing when you're needing to not put a mask on but hold space for somebody who is struggling. Instead of imposing your ideas of what [you think] they should be feeling.
Knowing mindfully to allow them to go through their emotions (and this includes yourself).
You're not always going to be hope and optimism. I mean, you know that, right?
Even I go through waves of doubt and fear and grief and anger around multiple situations that are happening. And I don't conceal them [from myself or others].
I sit in them.
I feel them
and I let them go.
I process them to discover what I need or how I need to move forward.
It’s Not Suffering Forward
Which leads us into our next card, Resilience.
I know resilience. I have a big issue with this word because of the way that our Western society or cultural conditioning has trained us to believe that resilience means to grit our teeth and push through it.
We missed the mark on that.
The resilience is not about our ability to suffer forward.
Our resilience is actually steeped in processing our emotions so that we can become stronger.
A lot of people downplay that what strength is. Saying that strength means never being weak and that emotions like anger, fear, and grief are weak.
Or, on the verse side, when we “should” be feeling anger, pain, and fear, people will downplay our happiness, love, and joy because emotions equal weakness.
Emotions are not weak.
Vulnerability is not weak.
Processing all that is happening around you minute by minute (or holding it until you can process) it is a strength.
It’s needed and necessary for you to know how to move forward in focus and in clarity.
The resilience comes from being truthful about what you are going through. Allowing yourself/giving yourself the permission to process what you are going through, to find the strength that's created from the pain.
Happiness is the Goal
Which leads us into the Happiness card.
This card is coming in to remind us that at the end of all of this:
Happiness is the goal.
It really shouldn't be our goal to end in fear, hate, and anger.
By allowing yourself to reveal your happiness and joy in times that it's needed, offers you a way forward into more light.
If we continue on a path of anger hate fear and greed, then we will become the very thing that we are fighting against.
Part of that resilience, part of that mindfulness, part of that happiness is remembering that it's okay to feel joy, love, and happiness in moments where others might not be.
It's also our responsibility to not shove it in anyone else's faces. Or tell them that they need to be feeling like you. Then you're just doing what they're doing to you.
They think you should be in fear… you think they should be in happiness.… that’s where mindfulness practice comes in.
Knowing when to or who is ready for what you're offering.
It doesn't mean that we have to hide from anyone or conceal these parts but be discerning about who is ready for that information and/or who it's going to create more anxiety and stress for.
Rebirth = Rebuild?!?
Which brings us into our last card, Rebirth. The Rebirth card has come in upside down as an awareness.
The awareness that it's asking you to look at is this:
When you conceal your happiness and joy to match those around you, you are preventing yourself from living authentically. You're preventing yourself from stepping into the new space, that new alignment, that new future that you are looking/working for.
This rebirth doesn't feel like something that's going to happen overnight.
This is about the beginning.
The seedling that's being planted in the earth so that when the time is right, it will sprout and bloom, but that takes time and energy. Then nurturing and care.
That takes stepping into the authenticity of who you are.
This rebirth to me also reflects a rebuild.
This is taking the opportunity to see the bigger picture and ask yourself the deeper questions:
When all is said and done, what is it that I am creating?
What am I creating for and with my community?
How will the leaders going to shape that which I wish to create?
Who can I work with that will help create that reality?
The end goal is not to keep fighting, but to build a system that is going to work for the new world, a system that will support generations to come.
Recap
By concealing your true feelings, whether that be hope, joy, or resilience to fit the narrative of those that feel they must be in fear and hate right now, is not creating that new system.
It's hindering that [new] system.
While fear, hate, pain, and grief, sorrow are important and create different gifts.
Don’t overlook them, but don’t hold on to them either, or we become them.
When we become those things, we become the very thing we are fighting against.

May you find ease, peace, and magic in your week to come.
Journal Prompt
When the dust settles:
What would your world look like?
What is it that are you are creating?
What do you want for your community?
What kind of community do you want to create?
What kind of leader will shape the world you wish to create?
What moral pilers would that leader hold? Are they separate from yours?
Who can you work with that will help create that reality?
