A Simple Reminder

Mindfulness Monday: Being mindful is moment by moment practice that helps you successfully avoid the mind trap.

Welcome Beautiful Beings of Light to Mindfulness Monday. Your mindfulness practice from Monday to Monday.

As I pulled these cards, the message seemed to be too simple, too easy, and didn't seem to resonate with the tones of what happened over the weekend.

But there is a reminder here that there's a perspective to always be found. That sometimes the simplicity of mindful thinking can help us survive successfully as we navigate the uncertainty of what will come next.

Return to Wisdom

The first card to come out was Wisdom upside down as an awareness.

Wisdom is not found in books. It is not taught.

Wisdom is in knowing within your soul of what is right and what is Light.

Wisdom is knowing what is feeding your soul and what is taking from your soul.

Right now, there can be an absolute overwhelm of information to be found in the what-ifs, what will come of the future, and how things are going to unfold.

Wisdom asks you to pause, to remember that we aren't all-knowing. We don't know exactly what's going to happen, so there's no need to get lost in the fog of uncertainty.

When the uncertainty swirls like chaotic vibrations in your mind and feel as if all hope is to be lost.

Return to the wisdom of the natural world:

  • The birds as they chirp and sing to one another.

  • How the wind blows through the trees.

  • The humming and drumming of creatures as they go about their daily lives.

  • The babblings of the rivers as they flow.

There is chaos around us, but when we sink into the vibrations of the earth, we can return to the wisdom of our knowing.

We can recalibrate our being back into the wisdom of the earth and see that for the moment:

Life isn't as chaotic as we feel.

Mindfully Pause

Which brings us into our next card, Mindfulness.

The Mindfulness card comes in upside down as an awareness.

The awareness card is asking you to be mindful of where your mind is leading you. What stories your mind is creating. What expectations are you putting into the universe that may not be necessary at this time because it has not happened.

Worries and fears over of what is to come can settle over us and take over the mind space, creating stories, that may be likely true at some point but are not currently our reality.

Mindfulness asks you to tap back into your reality. To what is happening around you.

When you get lost in the uncertainty, it's time to disconnect, turn off and reconnect back into the natural world. To recalibrate the vibrations of your mind to the simplicity of what is actually happening around you.

How things are still normal? How they are still going on with daily life? And how you can find peace in a moment in a world that is spiraling into chaos?

Mindfulness wants you to remember that you do not have to continue to [live] feel the fear of uncertainty and surrender to the moments around you. To find peace, joy, love, and hope within the moment, within your current reality.

Success is Mindfulness

Which leads us into our next card, which is Success. The Success card is coming in to remind you that if you stay mindful.

If you stay rooted in the wisdom of your being. Then you will find success in keeping yourself calm and clear to be able to make the choices that are going to be for your highest good and the highest good for those around you.

Success comes in many forms, and sometimes it's simple.

Sometimes success is not falling into the trap of what-ifs, of what may come, and finding joy and simplicity and peace within your daily life.

Mindfulness Practice

The mindfulness practice for this week is to check in with yourself when you're feeding yourself all the news.

  • Are you doing it to get the information that you need?

  • Or are you doom scrolling, worrying about the what-ifs?

When you feel the overwhelm of uncertainty and what-ifs, it's time to pause. To take a break and disconnect and reconnect back into the reality of the moment that you are currently living.
